My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing private tour with Carlos. Nothing was specifically planned, we just wanted to be on the water and enjoy the sights. Carlos knew of all the right places for us to see whales breaching, private beaches and even a couple local monkeys. Thoroughly enjoyed our day and highly recommend Rio Leon Tours.
To celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday, we decided to take a tour with the guys from Río León. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. We live in CR and discovering such a wonderful place was unexpected, the beauty of the sweet gulf surprised us all! Those guys are really the best. A team of four taking care of my family of four on this private journey to paradise. We have seen dolphins, turtles, and so many fish while snorkeling near puedras blancas. They cooked us diner on a secluded beach. It was like a 5 service meal course. Everything from their fincas was super delicious. An exceptional day it was. I definitely recommend. Gracias amigos.
Had a wonderful afternoon and sunset with Abraham and Carlos. It was like being with old friends, especially since I was traveling solo. Martin created a customized trip for me, combining two ideas. Unique experience! Everything taken care of down to the last detail. Cold beers. Fresh oysters straight from the seabed. Dolphins ahead. Toucans in the trees. Bram, Maarten and Carlos (and Hazel) each fulfill their roles with verve. Highly recommended to sail with them!
It was perfect. After a view minutes on the boat we saw more than 100 dolphins. The snorkelimng spot was really nice and we saw a lot of fish and a turtle. The private Tour ended with a really good homemade lunch while we were cruising through the mangroves.Thanks a lot, this tour was definitly one of the highlights of our Trip through Costa Rica.

We had an incredible day with the crew of Rio Leon Tours. Nothing was too much for them. Pick up and drop off could be arranged wherever was most convenient for us, the boat is very clean and comfortable, huge ice cooler with fruit and drinks, a very knowledgeable local captain and great guide, picknick with homemade bread and farm fresh veggies served on a remote beach, snorkeling equipment available... and I haven't started talking about the incredible experience of being amongst the whales yet! It was the most wonderful experience to find about ten different whales with their babies throughout the day (we even saw whales swimming by during our lunch on the beach). It's hard to pick the most magical moment, but I would say the moment when Carlos turned off the motor and we could hear the sound (and vibration!) of the whales. I had never heard a whale before. Pure magic! The Golfo Dulce is one of a kind, a must see when you visit Costa Rica. And when you do, go with the best: Río Leon Tours. Thank you for everything guys, pura vida

This tour was my favorite memory from my trip to Costa Rica. The tour operators were so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about all the wildlife and locations they took me to.
